What is the Rondy Royalty?

The Rondy Royalty Court is a proud part of Anchorage's beloved Fur Rendezvous Festival, made up of ten incredible individuals who represent the heart and spirit of our community. This group is guided by a dedicated team of volunteers and serves as year-round ambassadors for the festival and the city of Anchorage.

Each Royal Court member is chosen for their leadership, community involvement, and passion for Alaska's traditions. These influential Alaskans can be found attending Fur Rondy events, connecting with festival goers, and representing Rondy at celebrations across the state throughout the year.

The Royal Court includes ten titles: Queen, two Princesses, Heritage Ambassador, Sweetheart, Lord and Lady Trapper, King and Queen Regent, and of course, our unforgettable mascot, Rondy Bear.
